Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information TabNine collects, how we use and share it, and the rights and choices available to you when you use our AI studio.

01

Overview

TabNine ("we", "us", or "our") provides an AI studio for video, image, avatar, and chat generation. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

This policy applies to our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). It does not apply to third-party websites or services that we do not control.

For purposes of applicable data protection law, TabNine is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy matters at privacy@tabnine.app.

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. If this policy conflicts with the Terms, the Terms control to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under mandatory data protection law.

02

Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, password hash, profile details, language preference, and authentication data.
  • Content and prompts: the text, images, audio, video, avatar likenesses, voice recordings, project data, and other materials you submit, as well as the outputs generated for you.
  • Payment information: your plan, billing details, and transaction history. When you pay through the app, card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored by us.
  • Usage information: features used, generations, credits consumed, device and browser type, IP address, approximate location, and referral source.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: information stored through essential cookies and local storage, as described below.
  • Communications: support requests, feedback, survey responses, and other messages you send to us.
  • Sensitive information: we do not ask for health or government identification data, and you should not submit it unless a feature specifically requests it. Avatar and voice features process the likenesses and recordings you choose to provide as content under this policy.

03

How we use information

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service.
  • Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and process credits, subscriptions, and payments.
  • Generate outputs, store project history, and enable features you request.
  • Respond to support requests and send service-related notices.
  • Detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, security incidents, and violations of our Terms.
  • Analyze usage and improve the quality, safety, and performance of the Service.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
  • Personalize your experience, such as remembering your language preference.
  • Create aggregated or de-identified information that we may use and share for lawful business purposes, including analytics, research, and product development.

05

AI processing and your content

Prompts and uploads are processed by our systems and by AI model providers acting on our behalf to generate the outputs you request. Some features rely on third-party models, and those providers may process your content solely to deliver the feature.

We may use your content to provide, secure, moderate, troubleshoot, and improve the Service. We may use aggregated or de-identified data to improve the Service and develop new features, and we may review content where necessary to investigate abuse, enforce our Terms, or comply with law. We do not use your private content or outputs to train publicly available models unless you explicitly opt in. Generated outputs are stored in your account so that you can access them and so that we can provide history and related features.

06

How we share information

  • Service providers: hosting, infrastructure, AI model providers, payment processors, analytics providers (if enabled), email, and customer support vendors that help us operate the Service under contracts that limit their use of your information to providing services to us.
  • Affiliates: companies in our group that support the Service, subject to this policy.
  • Legal and safety: authorities or other parties when required by law, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
  • At your direction: when you choose to share a project, invite collaborators, or connect a third-party service.
  • Aggregated or de-identified information: we may share information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for analytics, research, and product development.

07

Cookies and storage

By default, this site uses only strictly necessary storage: cookies and local storage that remember your language, keep the checkout order you create, and record your notice choices. Necessary storage is always on because the site cannot work without it. We do not currently run analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking scripts.

The notice has a "Details" button where you can choose which categories you allow. Analytics and marketing are optional, start off, and are only used if and when we enable those features — nothing in an optional category is stored until you turn it on. Where required by law, we rely on your consent for optional storage. Your choices live in the same local storage as your language preference, and "Cookie settings" in the footer reopens the notice so you can change or withdraw them at any time.

You can clear this storage through your browser settings, which resets your choices and shows the notice again; disabling necessary storage may prevent parts of the Service from working. We do not currently sell personal information.

08

How long we keep information

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Content is kept until you delete it or close your account, subject to backups, legal requirements, and dispute resolution needs. Payment and tax records are retained as required by law. If we enable analytics, we retain analytics data for up to 24 months unless a longer period is necessary for security or legal purposes. We may retain aggregated or de-identified information for longer, and we may retain information as necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.

09

Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account or data has been compromised, contact support@tabnine.app with "Security" in the subject line.

10

International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses and additional technical and organizational measures.

11

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; to restrict or object to certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not currently sell personal information, and we do not currently share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to export or delete your account data by emailing privacy@tabnine.app. We may verify your identity, and we may limit or decline a request where the law allows — for example, where we need to retain information for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. Where the law allows, we may charge a reasonable fee for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.

To exercise your rights, email privacy@tabnine.app. You may also use an authorized agent where local law allows it.

12

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact privacy@tabnine.app.

13

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide notice by email or in the Service before it takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last revised. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law. This policy is written in English; if we make it available in other languages, the English version controls to the extent permitted by applicable law.
